About HapKiDo

Chung Mu HapKiDo is an original and traditional style of martial art. This means the martial art has not been combined with other styles or adopted techniques from other styles, resulting in a new one. This martial art has been kept intact through the course of history. However, Chung Mu HapKiDo was further developed by the Choe family through the ages.

Is HapKiDo For Me?

Most styles of Martial Arts use force to block force, causing injury. Because HapKiDo uses circular self defense, you use the opponent's force against them. The method needs little power, just knowledge and skill. It doesn't matter how strong you are. If you use the techniques correctly, it is likely that you will always overcome brute force.
